MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — The local community is rallying around an area woman and mother of two who died while battling COVID-19.
Eleni Foster was just 43-years-old when she lost her life. She left behind a husband, siblings, and many devoted friends and family members.
More than $7,800 has been raised in her name from 86 donors thanks to a GoFundMe fundraiser launched last month. The funds will be split between her family and the frontline workers at Doylestown Hospital who helped Eleni fight her illness.
“They are truly angels on earth who did everything they could to help,” the GoFundMe reads.
Family described Eleni as easy going and dedicated to those close to her.
“She was always the person who was ready and willing to lend a hand whether it was hosting people at her own home or being the friend that helped clean up after a party,” the fundraiser adds. “Eleni was always the one you could depend on to be there even in the quiet moments. This is why we all loved her so much. Eleni was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister.”
