Kelly Peiffer learned early on the importance of working with customers and serving the public. From her first job at the Water Ice Factory in New Jersey serving customers on busy summer weekends to her current role as Vice President of Marketing Communications and Advancement at Manor College in Jenkintown, Kelly knows how to best serve her team, students, faculty, and staff.

Armed with a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communications from Elizabethtown College and a Master of Arts in Business and Professional Communications, she has taken on her role at Manor with grit and enthusiasm.

In 2017, Kelly had the privilege to lead Manor College through the rebranding of the college with new logos, new brand identity, new colors, new tagline, new website, new marketing collateral, and new athletics branding.

“We launched the “You Belong Here” brand in January of 2017. To see our campus community’s reaction to the brand then at the launch, and now since the brand has grown, evolved, and become much more well-known in the region has been incredible,” Kelly explains.

“In our most recent 2021 Commencement ceremony, one of our student speakers mentioned how significant the branding launch event was in his own college journey saying, that when he heard “Manor College, You Belong Here” he knew that it was true and felt validated in that he had made the right college decision. Hearing stories about how our brand evokes a strong feeling of family or a sense of belonging or feelings of pride and achievement within our students, alumni and community is without a doubt something that I am always very proud to be a part of,” she says.

Kelly’s love of service and students translates well into the love for Montgomery County. “I love working in Montco because it is a county with rich diversity that we can see reflected in Manor’s student body, and for its atmosphere of openness towards community partnerships,” she explains. “In my role at Manor I’ve had the opportunity to work with many local businesses, non-profit, and entities in Montgomery County – the spirit of togetherness and desire to truly lend a hand to each other is something that I love about working in Montco!”

One of her favorite places in Montco to relax is The Drake Tavern in Jenkintown, PA. “Nothing like a burger and ice-cold hard cider on a hot summer day!” she exclaims.

Kelly is a firm believer that the Lord has a plan for her life and that if I will just listen, He will guide a better path for her than she could ever create for myself. “I know that God has paved my career for me and has impacted it in miraculous ways. I always think back to the verse, Jeremiah 29:11, ‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future,” she notes. “It has been in times when I wasn’t necessarily seeking a career change or a shift that the Lord has opened doors and opportunities for me. I constantly pray that my heart, eyes, and ears are open and willing to and listen to the Lord for what he has called me to do and where to serve.”

“I always smile when someone tells me ‘I saw a Manor commercial, and I was so excited’ or ‘I saw a billboard on 95 and was proud to say that’s my school!’ Seeing the pride that others feel for Manor and the culture that our brand has developed and grown is something I consider to be one of my biggest accomplishments,” Kelly Peiffer says.
